When using an SSD for the first time, it needs to be formatted and partitioned first. You can use "Disk Management Tool" to format and partition the SSD, and then use it in "Windows Explorer".
Because the manufacturer's calculation method is 1TB=1000MB=1000000KB=1000000000B, and the computer system's calculation method is 1TB=1024MB=1024*1024KB=1024*1024*1024B, so the capacity you see is 1TB=(1000*1000*1000)/(1024*1024*1024)TB≈0.93TB.

Went from a 2T 7200RPM HDD to the Fanxiang 2T SSD. Was like night and day difference! I have a 12 y/o Dell XPS 8300, 1st Gen i7 quad core, 16G RAM, Nvidia 470Ti GPU that I have upgraded twice (now 3 times) to get where I am. I installed the SSD, ran Macrium Reflect Free version to clone the HDD to the SSD, removed the dying HDD and it has been flying ever since. The SSD was automatically recognized in BIOS at the full size expected. It immediately booted to the SSD and solid Read Write times. My games now load in about 20 SECONDS instead of 1 min+. I also no longer have the lag spikes due to data transfer from RAM, GPU, and HDD. This is running seamlessly!

Not the fastest drive out there but for a small cost and to bring new life into an older laptop or desktop this is the perfect upgrade over the old spinning type drives. I was able to load a clean windows install in about 20mins and was up and running in 30mins on my old Dell laptop. The performance is night and day compared to this drive vs the older drive that was in there. Boots up in about 15s seconds and everything seems to load a lot faster. Had to knock down a star because I was not getting the advertised speed but honestly I really can't tell the difference when loading programs or surfing the web.
