What a great buy!

This 1TB M.2 was an amazing value at fifty-six bucks! I bought it for my mini-pc, it upgraded a 512gb M.2. I did end up putting a heat-sync on it, but that was less than ten bucks. Installation was pretty easy, I just swapped out the old M.2 with this one and booted up from a Windows11 USB pen drive. I had a clean Win11 install up and running in a few minutes. That was a few days ago and so far so good. The performance is better than the one I replaced and I haven't had a single issue with it. Time will tell if it can go the distance, but so far I like it.

Comes with a m2 screw and screwdriver which many dont. speeds exactly 3.5mb/s from CDM. write is a bit slower. got it discounted so im very happy.

Fast, powerful SSD

The SSD comes with a tiny screwdriver and a screw for mounting, if needed. I bought an external case because my 'mini' computer (small cube computer) didn't have room inside the case. It did, however have a 10GB USB-C port. The case had all of the things needed to mount the SSD, so I didn't use the screw, but I'm sure it is fine.

This SSD fit the connection point perfectly and mounted into the case without any trouble or fanfare. I plugged it into the USB port and the computer immediately recognized it. I formatted it NTFS and had 238GB of useable space. Then I moved all of my Hyper-V machines (and their virtual drives) onto this SSD. They start and run as quickly as I expected from an SSD. I can restart the virtual computers in about 5 seconds. This SSD is very fast.

I recommend this SSD.

Affordable, fast drive

I am currently using this as an external drive for my Steam Deck and it's working great. The speeds are pretty solid and it runs fast. The temperatures run good and I've had no issues there. The interesting thing is that this lifespan rating of 200TBW is usually reserved for higher capacity models based on their total writing capacity so not sure how accurate that may be (150TBW is the standard at this range). Still a lot as per 3D Nand but just something to keep in mind.

The little screwdriver it comes with is cute and it has its own screw but usually your motherboard or enclosure will already come with one. Overall, this SSD is a solid performer at a good value.
