When you need mSATA, this works

I've used fanxiang products before in some of my builds. Recently I had a machine that I wanted to expand the storage but it used mSATA instead of the m.2 drives I normally see. So I took a chance on this. Speeds seem good. Speed test was over a USB 3.1 to SATA adapter. So far I think this one will work out great.

Looks good, Does not fit my devices

I was excited about this but found that it did not fit my devices, including an external carrier.

Decent price, fine performance

If you need a relatively low capacity M.2 drive and aren't looking to spend much, this isn't a bad deal. Prices are coming down so fast on drives like this that it may be overpriced by the time you see this if the price doesn't drop, though.

Anyway, performance is OK and this is ideal for single board computers that support it or to extend the storage space of a laptop or standard PC that came with low capacity storage... as long as you have an open M.2 slot. It's NOT an nVME drive so you won't get blistering speed out of it, but it's fine for anything you want to run off it today in 2023 at least.
